    Environment: Terrarium
Directions: Evenly spread 2-3 inches of bedding on the floor of the terrarium. A 2-3-inch depth is recommended for large pets. Use a substrate sifter to scoop waste daily. If waste material is allowed to collect on the surface, your pet can develop skin and intestinal infections. A clean environment will help you protect the health of your pet.

Care Instructions: Discard waste daily. Completely replace the substrate monthly or as needed.

Caution: Walnut shells substrate is only safe for adult reptiles. Not recommended for juvenile lizards under 6 inches (15 cm) in total length. You should seek immediate veterinary care if your pet consumes large quantities of the substrate or if there is a change in food or water consumption. Excess consumption can cause intestinal impaction, which can be harmful. Observation and proper management will minimize potential problems.

Advice for Use: Refer to a pet-care guide to determine the proper substrate for your pet. Feeding your pet from a plate or bowl within the enclosure or in separate enclosures without bedding will reduce accidental substrate ingestion. Wash your hands after handling a pet or cleaning a habitat.
