Instructions:
1. Unplug the heater and filter before draining the aquarium water. Place an empty bucket near and below the aquarium.
2. Attach the handle group to the rigid nozzle and long hose. Use the clip to fasten the long hose to the bucket. Submerge the rigid nozzle in the aquarium water. Squeeze the handle 3-5 times until siphoning begins. If you want to control the flow, please move the flow control clamp accordingly.
3. Some gravel will rise slightly as debris is removed but will fall as the nozzle is lifted. The basket inside the cap will keep small fish and gravel from being sucked into the hose.
4. When the bucket needs to be emptied, remove the vacuum from the water to stop the flow. Empty the bucket and repeat the process until the appropriate amount of water has been removed.
