DESCRIPTION
Gold Pearl is, without doubt, one of Aqua Natural's premium aquarium gravels. When wet it gives off gold and soft brown hues. When dry, however, it is fresh, and its natural smooth roundness comes from being deposited in river plain flows coming from glacial alpine areas.

How much substrate to purchase:
For a planted tank we suggest approximately 2 in or 5 cm depth.
For pounds:
Aquarium Length inches x Width inches x Desired depth inches divided by 32 equals the weight needed in lbs
For kilograms:
Aquarium Length centimeters x Width cm x Desired depth cm divided by 1,000 equals the weight needed in kgs
Directions for Use:
All Aqua Natural substrates have been triple washed, kiln dried and are exceptionally clean.
Simply rinse before use. Some substrates (particularly sands) naturally contain more fines than others and may require additional rinsing and more time to settle in an aquarium.
Spread substrate evenly and fill with water slowly. We suggest placing a plastic bag over the area where you are filling with water to avoid stirring up the substrate.
Once the tank is filled, start your filter. Any cloudy appearance should clear within a few hours (sands will take longer).
