Tidal 110 Foam Replacement Filters are the replacement mechanical filtration media for the Tidal Filter. The foam is an integral part of the entire filter system by trapping waste and debris as the first stage of filtration. This allows further stages of chemical and biological filtration to work more efficiently. As with all mechanical filtration media the foam should be cleaned regularly by thoroughly rinsing under clean water. When the foam no longer rinses clean or and has visible signs of wear it should be replaced.
